Design the cover for Grimm Fairy Tales! Win an XBOX 360!

Zenescope Entertainment wants you to design the cover layout of Grimm Fairy Tales!

Getting in the Halloween spirit Zenescope Entertainment is holding a contest asking YOU to play dress up. If you have ever had an idea for a comic book cover and what it should look like now is your time to show us what you’ve got.

As you might or might not know, we have sold out of our first printing of Grimm Fairy Tales #1, 2 & 3 and we’ve decided to do a LIMITED re-print run of each book. Dressing up as Red Ridding Hood or the Big Bad Wolf for Halloween this year? Can you pull off a hot Cinderella or do you and your partner make a good Hansel and Gretel?

We want YOU to come up with the cover concept by dressing up in costume, posing exactly how you would like to see the cover drawn, snapping a photo and emailing it to contest@zenescope.com. We will choose 3 finalists for each cover and voting by our fans will commence in the forum section of www.zenescope.com to choose the winner for each issue.

The grand prize winner will receive an XBOX 360 and be credited in a reprinting of Grimm Fairy Tales as the cover designer. 2nd and 3rd place winners will also be credited in their issue and will receive a Zenescope gift pack including DVD’s, signed comics, a t-shirt and more.

Series cover artist Al Rio will take the winning concept and replicate it to the best of his ability. The 2nd and 3rd place finalists will have their concept replicated by Al or another of Zenescope’s talented cover artists.

All photos must be received by November 30th!

Rules & Regulations:

Please read these Official Rules before entering the contest ("Contest"). By submitting an entry, you agree to be bound by these Official Rules and acknowledge that you satisfy all Contest eligibility requirements.

1. ELIGIBILITY. NO PURCHASE IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. THE CONTEST IS OPEN ONLY TO RESIDENTS OF THE UNITED STATES AND CANADA. To be eligible to enter, you must be a resident of the United States or Canada and be 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees of the prize sponsor as well as employees and other representatives of Zenescope Entertainment, Inc., its parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates and advertising and promotion agencies (and the immediate family members of each of them and others living in the same household) are not eligible to win prizes. All applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations of the United States apply. Offer void where prohibited or otherwise restricted by law. Zenescope Entertainment, Inc. will only accept entries that are completed and submitted in the format designated below.

2. ENTRIES. The Contest run dates will be posted at www.zenescope.com, the website of Zenescope Entertainment, Inc., ("the Website"). Contest will run begin at 12:00 am Eastern time on the commencement date and will end at 11:59 p.m. Eastern time on the published Contest end date. All entries to this contest must be received by Zenescope Entertainment, Inc., during that period to be eligible to win. You may also send entries by standard mail to the address listed in Section 7 below, but such entries will only be valid if they are postmarked before the applicable deadline and received by Zenescope Entertainment, Inc. within one week of the applicable deadline.

CONTESTS ON THE WEBSITE
To enter contests running on the Website, submit your legal name, street address, phone number and e-mail address via an e-mail to contest@zenescope.com with the specified words stated in the contest description in the subject line of the email. All entries must be submitted from a valid e-mail account. In the event of any dispute, entries will be deemed to have been submitted by the holder of the e-mail account from which the e-mail was sent. Neither the prize Sponsor or Zenescope Entertainment, Inc. nor its parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, or advertising or promotion agencies are responsible for any (i) incorrect or inaccurate transcriptions of entry information, (ii) lost, delayed or corrupted data transmissions or telephone, electronic, hardware, software, network, Internet, or other computer or communications related malfunctions, (iii) other errors, failures or malfunctions, (iv) late, lost, illegible or misdirected entries, or (v) any damage to an entrant's system occasioned by participating in the Contest or downloading any Contest information or forms from the Zenescope Entertainment, Inc. website.

3. PRIZES/VOTING. The chances of winning will depend upon the number of votes received for each entrant. Zenescope Entertainment, Inc. will select top 3 finalists and obtains the right to choose a winner at own discretion if necessary. The selected contestants will be voted upon by public voting with the highest voted contestant receiving the prize. The prize is not transferable, and no substitutions or cash exchanges are permissible, except that Zenescope Entertainment, Inc. reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value. The prizes will be awarded "AS IS" and WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. ALL FEDERAL, STATE AND LOCAL TAXES ASSOCIATED WITH THE RECEIPT OF ANY PRIZES ARE THE SOLE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE WINNER.

4. DISCLAIMERS AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY. The prize Sponsor and Zenescope Entertainment, Inc. and each of its parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, directors, officers, employees, representatives and agents disclaims any and all liability whatsoever for any claims, costs, injuries, losses, or damages of any kind arising out of or in connection with the Contest or with the acceptance, possession or use of any prize (including, without limitation, claims, costs, injuries and losses related to personal injuries, death, damage to or destruction of property, rights of publicity or privacy, defamation or portrayal in a false light). Except where prohibited by law, by accepting a prize, the winner releases the prize sponsor and Zenescope Entertainment, Inc., and each of its parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, directors, officers, employees, representatives and agents from any and all such liability.

5. SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION OF WINNERS.
Winner: The prize winner will be determined by online forum voting at http://www.zenescope.com/phpBB/ Winners will be notified in a manner as defined below and will have two (2) business days after Notification in which to accept the prize and assert their full compliance with the contest rules and regulations. If the notified winner fails to respond with acceptance of the prize, compliance with the contest rules and regulations, or if the winner fails to meet the contest eligibility requirements, the notified winner shall forfeit his/her prize in full, and an alternate winner will be selected in the manner as defined above.

Not withstanding the foregoing, at its sole discretion, Zenescope Entertainment, Inc. may require the winner to complete an Affidavit of Eligibility before awarding the prize. In which case, the winner, as instructed in the Notification, will have (10) business days from the date of Notification to sign and return the Affidavit of Eligibility to Zenescope Entertainment Inc. If the winner fails to return the Affidavit of Eligibility, then the winner shall forfeit his/her prize in full, and an alternate winner will be selected.

Notification: The winner will be notified via email within three (3) business days of the drawing. Email notification ("Notification") will be the sole means of Notification for all winning entries received via email. If a Notification is returned as "undeliverable", an alternate winner may be selected in the manner as defined above. Solely in respect to selected winners that entered the contest via mail, the winner will be notified via telephone. If the winner cannot be reached via telephone within five telephone call attempts over the span of three business days, an alternate winner will be selected. For purposes of this agreement, a voice message left on an answering machine or voice-mail box, shall be deemed Notification.

Neither the prize Sponsor or Zenescope Entertainment, Inc., nor its parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, or advertising or promotion agencies are responsible for any (i) lost, delayed or corrupted data transmissions or other communication related errors with relation to telephone, electronic, hardware, software, network, or Internet malfunctions (ii) other errors, failures or malfunctions, resulting in late, lost, or misdirected Notifications or (iii) any damage to an entrant's system occasioned by receipt of the Notification.

Eligible winners will receive their prize within [6 to 8] weeks of prize acceptance in accordance with the Notification.

6. USE OF WINNER'S NAME, LIKENESS, ETC. USE OF WINNER'S NAME, LIKENESS, ETC.* Except where prohibited by law, entry into the Contest constitutes permission to use any pictures and/or photos submitted to zenescope entertainment, as well as all winners' names, likenesses and/or prize information, without limitation, for promotional purposes without further permission or compensation. Except where prohibited by law, as a further condition of being awarded any prize, winners may be required to execute a consent to the use of their name, likeness and/or prize information, without limitation, for promotional purposes without further permission or compensation.

7. WINNERS LIST AND OFFICIAL RULES. The names of all winners may be posted on the Zenescope Entertainment, Inc. web site after eligibility is confirmed. To obtain the name of a winner, send a request via e-mail to contest@zenescope.com or mail a letter request and self-addressed, stamped envelope to Winners List, Zenescope Entertainment, Inc. 100 Old York Rd., Suite 3-180, Jenkintown, PA 19046.

8. MISCELLANEOUS. The Contest and all accompanying materials are copyright 2006 by Zenescope Entertainment, Inc.., and will be governed, construed and interpreted under the laws of the United States. Any action you, any third party or Zenescope Entertainment, Inc. brings to enforce these Official Rules shall be brought in either the state or federal courts located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and you expressly consent to the jurisdiction of such courts. If any provision of these Official Rules shall be unlawful, void, or for any reason unenforceable, then that provision shall be deemed severable from these Official Rules and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining provisions. Entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and by the decisions of Zenescope Entertainment, Inc. which are final and binding in all respects. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Zenescope Entertainment, Inc. reserves the right to change these Official Rules or cancel or suspend the Contest at any time, in its sole discretion. Entrants who violate these Official Rules, tamper with the operation of the Contest or engage in any conduct that is detrimental or unfair to Zenescope Entertainment, Inc. the Contest or any other entrant (in each case as determined in Zenescope Entertainment, Inc. sole discretion) are subject to disqualification from entry into the Contest. Zenescope Entertainment, Inc. reserves the right to prohibit participation in the Contest of persons whose eligibility is in question or who have been disqualified or are otherwise ineligible to enter the Contest.
